Founded in the city of Porto in 1840 , VIAJES ABREU is the oldest travel agency in the world, and is also the largest company operating in the travel and tourism sector in Portugal.
Apart from the head office, located in Porto, and the main office located in the Abreu de Linda a Velha Building, we have large and modern customer service areas, both for Travel Agencies and the general public, which makes Viajes Abreu position itself in the main cities of the country (including the Azores and Madeira Islands), with more than 150 offices of its own.
The progressive growth of the Portuguese market has motivated Viajes Abreu to expand into other countries, with the opening of its own companies in Brazil, Spain, Angola and the United States. This effort has been accompanied by the ongoing modernization of its structure and the improvement in the quality of the services we provide to our clients.
