Save more than $12,000+ per year, or 1,000+ a month. Your booking platform connects you to hundreds of suppliers, but it doesn't clean up what comes back.
Hotel and room mapping is included in both the Hubwayz Full Platform and API Connectivity at no additional cost. Standalone mapping tools charge for this separately. And publicly published pricing from one specialized vendor shows hotel-level mapping starting at $499 a month and room-level mapping starting at $599 a month. As separate line items, as of July 2026.
Run both together, the way most agencies and wholesalers actually need to, and you’re already past $1,000 a month before per-supplier package fees or traffic charges. Some vendors in this space don’t publish pricing at all. They negotiate custom enterprise contracts instead, which usually means the number is higher, not lower. Hubwayz clients get the same functionality inside the platform they’re already paying for.
With Hubwayz, you have hotel and room mapping for free!
Most booking platforms weren’t built to solve hotel and room mapping themselves. So they plug in a third-party mapping engine and pass the subscription cost on to you. That’s a legitimate business model for the vendors selling it. It also means an agency or wholesaler pays twice: once for the booking platform, and again for the layer that makes its search results usable in the first place.
The going rate for that second layer isn’t small. Among the specialized vendors in this category, only one publishes its pricing. And it lists hotel mapping starting at $499 a month and room mapping as a separate $599-a-month tier. Both before per-supplier package fees kick in. Add the two together for a mid-size supplier network and the monthly bill clears $1,000 quickly. The rest quote custom pricing instead of publishing it, which for enterprise-scale software generally means a higher number for larger portfolios, not a lower one.

| Room-level mapping | Separate subscription, from $599/month | Included |
| Manual review for edge cases | Often a paid add-on | Included |
| Integration work | Separate API to build and maintain | None (native to the platform) |
| Combined monthly cost (both layers) | $1,000+ before per-supplier fees | $0 extra on top of your plan |
| Typical outcome | Two vendors and two invoices, with one integration project |
One platform, one invoice, no double work |
Hotel and room mapping is the process of matching the same hotel and the same room type across different supplier feeds. So duplicates collapse into one clean listing instead of showing up as separate results. It’s a specific case of record linkage: identifying when two records from different sources describe the same real-world thing. Even when the labels don’t match.

A single hotel in Barcelona can arrive from three different suppliers. As “Hotel Barcelona Center,” “Barcelona Center Hotel,” and “BCN Center.” Same building, same rooms, three names, no obvious way for an agent to know they’re looking at one property. Multiply that across a supplier network of a hundred or more feeds, and an OTA’s search results turn into a wall of near-duplicates with inconsistent room names underneath. Agents either quote the wrong room, miss the best rate because it’s buried under a differently-named duplicate, or waste time manually cross-checking listings before they trust what they’re selling.
The room level makes it worse. The same “Deluxe Double Room” might show up as “Superior Double,” “Double Deluxe Room,” or just “Double” across three feeds for the same hotel. Each with a different price and a different cancellation policy attached. An agent who can’t tell those are the same room either books blind or spends ten minutes confirming it manually. Neither is a good use of a busy agent’s morning.
We built Hotel & Room Mapping into the platform itself, not as an add-on module. It runs on three layers: automatic hotel mapping matches every supplier feed against a master hotel record so duplicate listings collapse into one entry per property; room mapping matches room types the same way, so an agent comparing rates sees one consistent set of options instead of five variations of the same room under five names; and manual mapping lets your team review and confirm the edge cases automation isn’t confident about, before they turn into a mis-booked room. All three layers run identically whether you’re on the Full Platform or connecting through the API. A wholesaler building a custom front end gets the same deduplicated inventory server-side, without building or maintaining a mapping engine of its own.
Matching doesn’t stop at the name on the door. Hubwayz also pulls each hotel’s static content such as images, descriptions, facilities, and destination data, from every supplier feed into one master index per property. Instead of the same hotel turning up with three photo sets, four description formats, and conflicting facility lists, your agents and clients see one complete, consistent record. That clean, consolidated layer underneath is what a professional client experience is built on.

For most IT teams, no. Deduplication and normalization sound like a one-time engineering problem until you’re the one maintaining them. Supplier feeds change their hotel codes, add new room categories, and update naming conventions on their own schedule, not yours. Keeping a mapping engine accurate against a hundred-plus live feeds is a permanent job, not a project with an end date. That’s the calculation IT and tech decision-makers usually run when they weigh building an in-house mapping layer against paying for a separate vendor: it’s rarely a question of whether to pay for mapping, it’s a question of who maintains it. Hubwayz answers that by keeping hotel and room mapping on our side of the API, so your engineers build the features your business actually differentiates on.
Hotel and room mapping isn’t priced as a separate module here. It’s part of what you’re already paying for, alongside Hotel Search, the Profit Growth Tools, and the Payment Solution.
Travel agencies and OTAs: agents stop cross-checking near-duplicate listings before they quote a client, and the markup you set applies to one clean rate instead of five duplicate ones.
Wholesalers and bed banks: one less vendor relationship to manage inside a distribution network that’s already juggling dozens of buyer relationships and supplier feeds.
DMCs and incoming agencies: the hotel inventory you present through the Hubwayz Marketplace is deduplicated the same way as everything else on the platform, so buyers see clean listings regardless of which supplier the room came from.
IT and tech teams: one less system to integrate, certify, and keep current as supplier feeds change their hotel codes and room naming conventions.
Hubwayz clients see 40% more bookings and 60% time saved on back-office operations on average. Those gains come from the platform working as one connected system. Not a booking tool with a separate mapping tool wired on next to it.
No. Hotel-level mapping, room-level mapping, and manual review for edge cases are included in both the Full Platform and API Connectivity. There’s no separate mapping subscription, integration project, or invoice. 100% free of charge.
Standalone tools are a separate product you subscribe to and integrate on top of your booking platform. It is typically priced by mapping layer and supplier volume. Hubwayz’s mapping runs natively inside the platform you’re already using for search, booking, and payments.
Yes. Deduplication and normalization happen server-side for both deployment modes. So a wholesaler or tech team building its own front end through API Connectivity gets the same clean, matched inventory without building its own mapping logic.
Among the vendors that publish pricing, rates start around $499 a month for hotel mapping. And $599 a month for room mapping as separate tiers, before per-supplier fees. Most vendors in this category don’t publish pricing at all, so actual costs can run higher. Book a free demo to see exactly what’s included in your Hubwayz plan.
